{recipe recap} Thanksgiving Inspiration Pt 2

Hello again, we are one day closer to Thanksgiving AND Christine {FSC Managing Editor, Book Club Captain & Podcast Producer} is one day closer to her nuptials on Friday. YIPPEEE! You can go over to her personal blog, Unspeakable Visions or the Facebook Page to wish her well. While you’re at it, read her most recent post Ode to Girlfriends, please, because it’s a beautiful post about women, and the strong ties that bind. I love her like family, and Miles loves her like his first girlfriend. At 3 years old. For realzWe love you Christine, Congrats!

Back to the task at hand, last minute Thanksgiving inspiration, go!

Christine inspires us to make fondue as a Thanksgiving appetizer. YUM!

If not fondue, how about a cheese plate? Deanna goes over the ins & outs of Demystifying The Cheese Plate.
(Since this post was published, Eric Paul, our local kick-ass Cheese Monger opened up a store, The Cheese Traveler, for all your local cheese needs and more! )

Another appetizer idea is tea sandwiches. Jillian made up a few favorites!

Christine’s No Crust Apple Pie.
Its basically a sugar cookie on top of spiced baked apples – dreamy. We make it here monthly, w/ apples or pears.

How would the Thanksgiving table be complete without Butter Horns?
Liz has your back with her delicious recipe!

Maybe you need some Thanksgiving Tablescaping ideas? Lauren has you totally covered with her 3-part series.

Elizabeth Barbone gives us all the help we need w. making from scratch stuffing, with special attention to Gluten-Free Stuffing. She includes her recipe for GF Sausage & Sage Stuffing.

For a side dish idea, how about Leah’s Bourbon Brown Butter Sweet Potatoes (OMG)

The finished casserole remake.Or maybe Erika’s Cheese Potato Casserole, either the classic or healthy version!
