NEWS

In “good food jobs” news; Kilpatrick Family Farm is hiring! They are looking for the Creative Director (CSA/Local-Chef Coordinator) of the farm. The job sounds dreamy take a looksie on their Facebook page. (LINK UPDATED TO THEIR WEBPAGE)

I love the Post Star. Its a newspaper, based in Glens Falls, that covers great farm and food stories among the regular newspaper beat. This week they have an editorial with video on “prison loaf”, they feature Washington County Jail’s recipe.

Steve Barnes of Table Hopping Blog has a very cool news story; locally-linked chef will be on Top Chef Masters! Suvir Saran will be competing for local non-profit Agricultural Stewardship Association. So Cool! Barnes has more information- don’t wanna poach the entire article. Time Magazine’s blog has the full list of chefs & non-profits.

Our friends, All Good Bakers, is offering a pro-rated rate ($48) for the rest of their 1st Community Supported Bakery winter/spring season. For every new share, one loaf of their Healthy Bread to Catholic Charities. More information on their blog.
