{Holiday Food} Recipe Link-Love Round Up

I didn’t add a recipe section to {weekend reading} National Edition because frankly, there was just too much to talk about in the news. Here’s a short recipe round up for all your cooking and baking needs this week and the during the holidays. – Christina


LA Times did a great photo gallery, with recipes, of some interesting edible gifts. LA Times also had a recipe for the classic fruit cake, Panettone.

The Columbus Dispatch has a really cool recipe for popcorn cookies. Seriously, its gluten free (if GF oats are used) and have very little sugar, just 1 1/2 Tablespoons. All you need is a food processor.

The Atlantic has a DYI edible gift recipe for Prunes in French Brandy.
